_{I'm just a broken piano,
one that's missing keys,
that's never owned a melody.

I'm a guitar with broken strings,
I was never tuned right,
my capo never in place.

I'm a violin with a broken bow,
I was never handled properly,
my notes screechy and wrong.

I'm a singer with a broken soul,
one with cracked, dry lips,
that has nothing to sing about anymore.

I'm just a girl with a broken heart,
      a broken mind,
           broken dreams,
                    a broken soul,
If I asked, would you please,
                fix me,
                      tune me,
                               play me,
But most of all, could you,
